Ideal for urban or drone-denied environments, accurate photogrammetry is made possible without the need of a drone. Easy to use yet powerful, it is the perfect tool for 3D reality capture of manholes, sidewalks, curbs, steps, landscape features, as well as other applications, such as trench mapping of underground electrical, water and sewer pipes.

With the xML2 system, including a 2 meter pole, GNSS receiver, and an Android phone
or tablet, users can snap highly accurate geo-referenced photos as they walk around a
desired work location such as an open trench.
The geo-referenced photos are then fed into PhotoCapture, Carlson’s powerful photo
processing and analytics software, and processed into visualizations and deliverables
including orthomosaics (GeoTIFF, jpg, png).
